07:15 our bus will pick you up for a guided tour to Jerusalem. After ascending to the Holy City, we start the tour with a Panoramic overview from the Mount of Olives, overlook Jerusalem's New City and the Temple Mount Esplanade at the Old City. Travel along the Kidron Valley to view the Garden of Gethsemane and the walls of the city. Via the Armenian Quarter we enter The Western (Wailing) Wall square and continue through the Muslim Quarter and the Bazaar to the Christian Quarter, where we walk along the Stations of the Cross (Via Dolorosa) to the Church of the Holy Sepulcher– the site of the crucifixion.
Walk along the 1700 year old Byzantine main street, the "Cardo", and the renovated Jewish Quarter. Ascend to Mt. Zion, and on Saturdays - visit the Hall of last supper & David's tomb. Tour the new city by car to the Yad Vashem Holocaust Memorial. At the end of the tour you will be brought to the Ramada Hotel in Jerusalem, where you will stay for 3nnights on B/B basis.
Please Note:
* As we visit some of the holiest places for the various religions, respectful, modest clothing, is required. This means you have to cover both your knees and shoulders, including men.
* On Fridays, Saturdays & Jewish Holidays the Holocaust Museum is closed. We will visit instead King David's Tomb, The Hall of the Last Supper & the Garden of Gethsemane.
Day 6 -7:
Free for your activities, as above. You will be staying at the Ramada Hotel, close to the Israel Museum, the Knesset, and in walking distance from the Central Bus Station.
Day 8:
Transfer to the Ben Gurion Airport for your flight home.
